Automotive Radars (also famously known as the AEB System) is the latest braking system in the world. It uses state of the art radar technology specifically designed for Automotive Radars or car radars and its primary function is to mitigate the impact or avoid collisions during critical situations by applying the brakes autonomously. Usual Road accidents happen when drivers applies inadequate, delayed or absolutely no brakes at all to avoid collisions. The most common reasons why drivers fail to step on the brakes at the right time are distractions, inattentiveness, sleepiness, using a mobile phone while on the steering wheel, lack of full concentration while driving, visibility conditions, road surface quality conditions, weather conditions, time of day, sudden road condition changes and obstructions from other motorist and the environment, and including heart attacks/seizures. Automotive Radars used by AEB systems is specifically designed to function properly on different sets of road scenarios. First, it alerts the driver of existing obstacles in front of a vehicle. If the driver fails to act accordingly on time to avoid an impact, automotive radars will send a signal to the AEB system which will automatically apply autonomous emergency braking system with different levels of braking force using its advance intelligent algorithm for speed, momentum, trajectory and other factors to avoid or at least lessen the impact of the collision. Premium models will activate or deploy the restraint system ready for impact to protect the driver and all passengers. The AEB system will disengage if the automotive radar's signal detected clearance from obstruction and that an action was taken by the driver to avoid the collision on time.
